ELECTIVE MANDATORY THROUGH SWAYAM (MOOCS)

SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) is the Government of India’s flagship online learning platform, initiated by the Ministry of Education to provide quality education to learners across the country. The platform offers free online courses in diverse disciplines, including Management, Engineering, Science, Commerce, Humanities, and Skill Development, designed by expert faculty from premier institutions such as IITs, IIMs, and Central Universities.

Our institution encourages students and faculty members to enroll in SWAYAM courses to enhance their knowledge, develop professional skills, and support lifelong learning. Learners can access course materials free of cost and may obtain certificates by successfully completing the course requirements and the prescribed examination. SWAYAM serves as an excellent platform to complement classroom learning and improve academic and career prospects.

EARNING CREDITS THROUGH ‘SKILLING’ BASED COURSES

A one-week Student Orientation Programme was organized by the institution to facilitate the smooth transition of newly admitted students into the academic environment and to equip them with essential personal and professional skills. The programme featured interactive sessions on communication skills, personality development, time management, teamwork, leadership, career planning, and institutional values, delivered by experienced faculty members and resource persons.

The orientation programme aimed to build students’ confidence, enhance their employability skills, and prepare them to face academic and professional challenges effectively. Through engaging activities, group discussions, and motivational sessions, students gained valuable insights that will support their holistic development and contribute to their overall success during their academic journey and beyond.

LANGUAGE LABORATORY (FOR DIPLOMA & UG COURSES)

The institution does not have a dedicated Language Laboratory, as it offers postgraduate programmes where such a facility is not mandatory. However, language and communication skills are enhanced through classroom activities, presentations, group discussions, and skill development programmes.

These initiatives help students improve their communication and interpersonal skills, preparing them for academic and professional success.
